Overview:

To ensure all Loan products are processed in compliance with C.P. & P as well as monitor the workflow of all items relating to Loans for ABCIB London (including Islamic Finance) ABC SA Paris and assist Frankfurt.

What You Will Be Doing:

Core Duties:

• Daily administration of Loan Products including drawdowns rate fixes rollovers fees transfers cancellation prepayments notices and advices in accordance with agreed and documented processes.
• Processing of Loan Product Sales/Transfers and/or Participations including settlement and maintenance of those sold on a participation basis (pseudoAgency role).
• Position / create payments in relation to Loan Products.
• Record and maintain facilities within the Banks systems.
• Daily Nostro Reconciliations are actioned.
• Prepare Claim/Notification Letters for Clients.
• Monitor and process receipt of funds for Client accounts.
• Communicate with and assist internal and external stakeholders.

Other:

• Reports Daily MI / Monthly Nostros
• Participate in project work and continuous improvement developments (lean 6Sigma) for the department.
• Maintaining documentation register.
• Archiving.

TRAIN AND GAIN KNOWLEDGE OF THE FOLLOWING:

• Review of New Facility documentation for operational feasibility in conjunction with the internal and external stakeholders covering loan products:
• Syndicated Participations (term loans / RCFs)
• Bilateral uncommitted and committed.
• Master Participation Agreement
• in accordance with LMA and BAFT standard term and conditions

Candidate Specification:

Basic knowledge of a variety of Loan Products and standard terms and conditions
Knowledge of operational policies and procedures having the ability to analyse problems and provide resolutions.
Analytical skills having the ability to review figures and identify errors.
No mandatory academic or professional qualifications required
Commercial banking operations experience with Loan products.
Accurate and methodical
The ability to remain calm whilst under pressure whilst investigating issues and resolving problems.
