Job Description

Location: remote from EU
Role: KQL Engineer to support a large data modernization project on Azure. The role involves migrating data and reporting from SQL to Azure Fabric leveraging Kusto Query Language (KQL) for advanced data management querying and monitoring. This engineer will play a pivotal role in optimizing data operations modernizing apps and enhancing reporting capabilities on the Azure platform.
MustHave Requirements:
Proficiency in Kusto Query Language (KQL) with experience in querying and managing large datasets.
Strong knowledge of Azure Data Explorer (ADX) Azure Monitor and Log Analytics.
Experience in data migration from SQLbased platforms to Azure.
Understanding of Azure Fabric and Azure Data managementpractices.
Familiarity with creating dashboards and reports using KQL and Power BI.
Proven experience in query optimization and performance tuning on large datasets.
Preferred Requirements:
Experience in security monitoring and incident detection using KQL in tools like Microsoft Sentinel.
Background in DevOps and automation using Azure tools (e.g. Logic Apps Azure Functions).
Experience in application modernization and cloudbased data architecture design.
Knowledge of compliance and data governance in Azure environments.
English: upperintermediate
