Tyreman

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Tyreman to work with aHeavy Equipment Workshop team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience working with heavy equipment ensuring the proper maintenance repair and fitting of vehicle tires.

Key Responsibilities:

• Tire Maintenance: Inspect diagnose and repair vehicle tires including fitting new tires and ensuring proper tire pressure.
• Wheel Alignment: Check and adjust vehicle tires and wheels using both electronic and manual equipment.
• Defect Inspection: Thoroughly inspect tires for any defects or irregularities that could impact vehicle safety or performance.
• Equipment Handling: Safely handle and operate all tools and machinery associated with tire maintenance and repair.
• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of all tire inspections repairs and replacements.
• Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other team members in a highpressure stressful work environment.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while performing duties.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Heavy Equipment workshop as a Tyreman.
• Education: High School diploma or Technical trade certificate.
• Skills:
  • Proficiency in using electronic and manual tire equipment.
  • Good communication skills in English.
  • Basic computer literacy for recordkeeping and reporting.
• Physical Requirements:
  • Must be physically fit and capable of lifting heavy items.
  • Ability to work in a team environment under highpressure situations.
