In a nutshell

Picnic is looking for a SEO Specialist who is passionate about optimizing websites for better search performance understands the complexity of technical SEO and has the drive to implement impactful changes. As this is a new role youll have the unique opportunity to establish and shape our SEO strategy from the ground up setting the foundation for longterm success at Picnic!

What youll do

• Create and execute SEO strategies tailored to increase organic traffic and improve search engine rankings.
• Conduct indepth keyword research to identify opportunities and ensure content is optimized for search intent and relevance.
• Analyze and enhance the technical aspects of our website including site architecture crawlability indexability and site speed.
• Collaborate with web developers and UX/UI designers to implement technical SEO changes and ensure website best practices are followed.
• Work closely with the content team to optimize & implement content for search engines while maintaining brand tone and user engagement.
• Utilize SEO tools to monitor performance track keyword rankings analyze backlinks and identify improvement areas.
• Provide regular reports on organic search performance and recommend strategies for improvement.

About you

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in SEO with a strong focus on technical SEO and onpage optimization.
• Deep understanding of technical SEO including site architecture crawl management structured data and mobilefirst indexing.
• Handson experience with SEO tools such as Google Analytics Google Search Console SEMrush and Moz.
• Ability to make and implement technical changes directly on websites (experience with CMS systems such as WordPress).
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data identify trends and apply them to SEO strategies.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with crossfunctional teams including developers designers and content creators.
• Selfmotivated with a keen eye for detail and a passion for improving website performance and user experience.
• Fluency in Dutch or German is required (both is a plus!).
