Job Description
Overview:
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in database design and implementation
- Write and optimize SQL statements
- Participate in software development and maintenance tasks
- Conduct data analysis and develop reports
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to gather requirements
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving database issues
- Contribute to the development of new features and applications
- Assist in performance tuning and optimization
- Collaborate with other developers to integrate userfacing elements with serverside logic
- Participate in code reviews and knowledge sharing sessions
- Ensure data security and integrity
- Stay updated with industry best practices and new technologies
- Assist in documentation and technical specifications
- Support testing and quality assurance processes
- Help in the maintenance and improvement of existing databases and applications
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field
- Good knowledge of SQL and database management
- Basic understanding of programming languages such as Java Python or C#
- Ability to analyze and interpret data
- Problemsolving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a team as well as independently
- Knowledge of data visualization tools is a plus
- Understanding of web development concepts is an advantage
- Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies quickly
- Understanding of software development life cycle
- Ability to prioritize and manage tasks effectively
- Keen interest in software development and data analysis
- Good understanding of relational database concepts
- Exposure to version control systems such as Git is preferred
