Position : ROR Developer.
Education : BCS / MCM / MCA or BE / B. Tech in CS or other branches of Engineering/ any graduate
Experience : 04 06 Years
Job Summary:
We are seeking a talented and experienced Ruby on Rails (RoR) Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in RoR development and implementation with proficiency in Ruby Rails PostgreSQL Html CSS JavaScript and API integration. This role requires a detailoriented individual with excellent problemsolving skills and a passion for developing highquality scalable solutions
Skills:
- Strong analytical skills interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong experience with RoR development and customization.
- Experience with frontend technologies such as HTML CSS JavaScript and jQuery.
- Proficiency in Ruby programming languages.
- Proficiency in the Rails framework.
- Experience with API integration and development (REST APIs).
- amiliarity with database management (e.g. MySQL PostgreSQL).
- Knowledge of Git and version control systems.
- Strong problemsolving and debugging skills.
Experience:
- Experience of full Software development life cycle.
- Experience with objectoriented programming (OOP) principles and design patterns.
- Ability to work independently.
- Minimum 46 years of experience in RoR development and implementation.
- Proven track record of using standard RoR Gems.
- Handson experience with Ruby and JavaScript programming
- Experience with API integration and development (REST APIs)
- Familiarity with Linuxbased operating systems.
- Experience with relational databases preferably PostgreSQL.
- Experience with AWS S3 bucket integration with Ruby on Rails.
- Knowledge of Heroku for deployment (a plus).
- Familiarity with testing frameworks like RSpec or Cucumber.
- Experience with background job processing systems like Delayed Job. (Good to have)
- Experience with rich text editors like CKEditor (Good to have)
Responsibilities:
- Build efficient testable and reusable modules.
- Contribute to all phases of the software development lifecycle.
- Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate userfacing elements.
- Identify and fix bugs and optimize application performance.
- Stay up to date with the latest Ruby on Rails technologies and best practices
- Develop and customize RoR modules and reports.
- Participate in the software development lifecycle including requirement gathering design development testing and deployment.
- Integrate RoR with other applications and thirdparty services using APIs.
- Enhance clientside functionality using JavaScript.
- Provide technical support and resolve RoRrelated issues.
- Perform system upgrades patch installations and regular maintenance tasks.
- Document technical specifications development processes and user guides.
- Maintain comprehensive records of customizations and integrations.
- Solve performance problems and architectural challenges and performance specifications. Integration of userfacing elements developed by frontend developers.
