Job Description
Adelphi is seeking a Physical Therapist to perform duties for a school district in Bridgeton New Jersey. The PT will provide comprehensive health services promote health education and maintain a safe environment. They should be compassionate studentfocused and collaborate well with staff and healthcare providers.

Requirements:
Associate/Bachelor s Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution
National Board for Certification in Physical Therapy
New Jersey licensure
Responsibilities:
Provide physical therapy services to students as directed by the supervising PT using both direct and consultative approaches.
Attend IEP team meetings when requested providing input on student progress and therapy needs.
Support the development of appropriate IEP goals based on the PTs evaluations and recommendations.
Collect data on student progress towards IEP goals documenting observations and outcomes.
Assist in preparing IEP progress reports for parents ensuring timely communication about student achievements and areas for improvement.
Communicate effectively with teachers and parents to share strategies and provide guidance on supporting students physical development.
Maintain accurate and uptodate records of services provided including session notes and progress data.
Provide guidance and training to teachers and school staff on implementing therapy strategies in the classroom.
