Position Overview:

We are seeking a detailoriented and motivated individual to join our team as a Jr. Accountant. This role is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates with a background in accounting to gain handson experience in a dynamic and supportive environment. You will play a key role in our finance department assisting with the preparation of monthly financial statements reconciling balance sheet accounts and ensuring all monthly accruals and adjusting entries are accurately recorded.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts on a monthly basis.
• Ensure proper and timely recording of all monthly accruals and adjusting entries.
• Help prepare yearend schedules.
• Participate in preliminary steps for the annual budget preparation.
  
• Support the audit liaison in completing audits.
• Prepare financialrelated reports as directed by supervisors.
• Contribute to future departmental projects and other adhoc tasks as assigned.

Desired Qualifications:

• Recent graduate with a Bachelors degree in accounting.
• At least 1 year of accounting work experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office particularly Excel and Word.
• Knowledge of accounting software.
• Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
