About the Project:
Deutsche Bahn AG (DB) is introducing Polarion a new requirements management tool to enhance its procurement processes for rail vehicles parts and infrastructure. Polarion will replace the IBM DOORS Rational tool supporting the entire procurement lifecycle from requirement development to postprocurement warranty management. This transition requires expert guidance to ensure successful adoption across DBs operations. As part of this critical project we are looking for a Senior Business Analyst to lead the training consulting and change management aspects of the Polarion implementation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Training Development and Delivery:
- Collaborate with department employees to prepare training materials on both general Polarion use and DBspecific configurations.
- Develop innovative training media to enhance user adoption of Polarion.
- Align training strategies with the projects communication plan.
- Conduct up to three user training sessions using the developed materials.
- Facilitate three trainthetrainer sessions to ensure longterm training sustainability.
Mandatory Criteria:
- Requirements Management Expertise:
- A minimum of 6 years of handson experience in requirements management with verifiable project references or employment records.
- At least one recognized certification in requirements management.
- Training Experience:
- Proven track record of delivering at least ten training courses on requirements management.
- Three client references confirming the effectiveness of previous training programs.
- Polarion Project Experience:
- At least 6 years of consulting experience on Polarion projects.
- Deutsche Bahn Project Experience:
- Prior experience working on IT projects within Deutsche Bahn AG.
Other Provisions:
- Service Location: The role is primarily based onsite in Munich Germany with occasional travel to DB project locations for classroom training. A mix of onsite and remote work may be required subject to client approval.
