Job Description

Job Title: Business Development Sales Manager

Department: Sales

Work Location: Components Facility AR

Reports To: SVP Corporate Sales & Quality

FLSA Status: Exempt

Responsibilities

  • Develop new business opportunities to grow customer and revenue base.
  • Identify and manage sales goals to develop strategies to ensure annual revenue targets are met.
  • Regular customer visits to solicit feedback on new products customer satisfaction review book of business and develop potential new sales of existing product lines.
  • Participate in crossfunctional teams to benchmark new engineering product development and sales progress.
  • Partner with customer service and engineering to ensure that any open actions items are resolved promptly (i.e. UPR analysis corrective actions and technical questions are addressed in a timely manner).
  • Develop monthly quarterly and annual sales forecast.
  • Develop reports to provide monthly quarterly and projected yearly sales reports to inform the organization.
  • Communicate to Components Factory leadership team customer feedback for potential demand changes for production planning.
  • Review and analyze customer pricing for adjustments to provide recommendations to Sales leadership.
  • Develop strategies for longterm contracts (5 years) to ensure sales pipeline development.
  • Partner with Marketing to ensure product information is accurately represented on websites various forms of media content and selling tools.
  • Direct supervision on Inside Sales Representative(s)

Education and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field or equivalent sales experience
  • Experience in planning and implementing sales strategies
  • Customer relationship management experience
  • Managing and directing a sales team
  • Excellent written verbal communication and analytical skills
  • Dedication to providing great customer service
  • Ability to lead teams
  • Strong communication skills

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. Extended periods of sitting and standing.

Working Conditions:

Heated and airconditioned office.
