Logistics istant

The Logistics Assistant will support the logistics team in coordinating and managing the flow of goods from suppliers to customers. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills a strong attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fastpaced environment.

Tasks

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the planning and coordination of logistics activities including transportation warehousing and inventory management.
• Maintain accurate records of shipments delivery schedules and inventory levels.
• Communicate with suppliers transport companies and customers to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
• Prepare shipping documents such as bills of lading and invoices and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Monitor stock levels and coordinate with the warehouse team to manage inventory effectively.
• Support the logistics team with data entry filing and other administrative tasks.
• Assist in resolving any issues related to deliveries such as delays or discrepancies.
• Ensure that all logistics processes adhere to company policies and safety standards.

Requirements

Qualifications and Experience:

• Previous experience as a Logistics Assistant or in a similar role is preferred.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office particularly Excel and familiarity with logistics software (e.g. SAP Oracle).
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
• High attention to detail and problemsolving abilities.
• Knowledge of logistics procedures and regulations is an advantage.
• High school diploma or equivalent qualification; a degree in Logistics Supply Chain Management or a related field is a plus.
