Overview
A Relationship Manager plays a crucial role in building and maintaining positive relationships with clients. They are responsible for understanding the clients needs providing suitable solutions and ensuring client satisfaction. This position is vital in driving business growth by retaining existing clients and acquiring new ones through effective communication and strategic planning.
Key responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong longlasting customer relationships
- Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits
- Develop trusted advisor relationships with key accounts customer stakeholders and executive sponsors
- Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives
- Communicate clearly the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders
- Forecast and track key account metrics
- Identify and grow opportunities within territory and collaborate with sales teams to ensure growth attainment
- Assist with high severity requests or issue escalations as needed
- Collaborate with the sales team to identify and grow opportunities within territory and communicate customer feedback to product development teams
- Effectively communicate client needs to the technical team for future product enhancements
- Monitor and analyze customers usage of our product
- Develop and implement strategic account plans to expand customer base and achieve sales quotas
- Negotiate agreements and keep records of sales and data
- Collaborate with company management to implement growth strategies
- Keep abreast of best practices and promotional trends
Required qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration Marketing or related field
- Proven work experience as a Relationship Manager Account Manager Key Account Manager or relevant role
- Demonstrable ability to communicate present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization including executive and Clevel
- Experience in delivering clientfocused solutions based on customer needs
- Proven ability to manage multiple clients at a time while paying strict attention to detail
- Excellent listening negotiation and presentation abilities
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with CRM software and MS Office (particularly MS Excel)
