Overview:
The Housekeeping Associate plays a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of our establishment. They are responsible for creating a welcoming and sanitary environment for guests and staff contributing to the overall customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Performing a variety of cleaning activities such as sweeping mopping dusting and polishing
- Maintaining and stocking cleaning supplies and equipment
- Ensuring all rooms and public areas are cleaned and sanitized to company standards
- Responding to guest requests in a timely and efficient manner
- Adhering to safety protocols and procedures when handling cleaning products
- Assisting with laundry and linen management
- Reporting any maintenance issues or safety hazards
- Coordinating with other departments to ensure guest satisfaction
- Following established guidelines for health and safety
- Collaborating with the maintenance team to ensure proper functioning of all equipment
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in housekeeping or a similar role
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Good communication and interpersonal abilities
- Basic understanding of health and safety regulations
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift/move heavy objects
- Flexibility to work in shifts including weekends and holidays
