Job Description
Overview
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements for Power BI reports and dashboards
- Design and develop Power BI reports and dashboards to visualize data effectively
- Manage and maintain data models in Power BI
- Optimize and finetune queries for improved performance
- Create and implement complex DAX calculations for business metrics
- Identify and troubleshoot data and report issues
- Support the integration of Power BI with other data sources
- Assist in training end users on Power BI functionality and best practices
- Stay updated with the latest Power BI features and capabilities
- Collaborate with the data engineering team for data pipeline requirements
- Participate in peer code reviews and provide constructive feedback
- Document technical specifications and user guides
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of BI processes and techniques
- Adhere to best practices for data visualization and reporting
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field
- 06 months of experience working with Power BI
- Strong understanding of data visualization principles
- Proficiency in SQL for data querying and manipulation
- Ability to interpret and analyze complex datasets
- Basic knowledge of data warehousing concepts
- Experience with ETL processes and data modeling
- Understanding of business intelligence and analytics concepts
- Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities
- Ability to work in a fastpaced and dynamic environment
- Keen attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively
- Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies
- Proactive attitude and willingness to learn new technologies
