Job Description
Overview
Key responsibilities
- Collect and organize data from various sources for analysis
- Utilize software tools and techniques for data cleaning manipulation and visualization
- Conduct statistical analysis and interpret results to identify patterns trends and correlations
- Collaborate with teams to define data requirements and develop data models
- Generate and present clear actionable insights and recommendations based on data analysis
- Develop and maintain data documentation and metadata
- Identify and address data quality issues and inconsistencies
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in data analysis
- Contribute to continuous improvement of data analysis processes and methodologies
- Support adhoc analysis and reporting requests
- Communicate complex data concepts and findings to nontechnical stakeholders
- Assist in the development and maintenance of data analysis tools and dashboards
- Participate in crossfunctional projects and initiatives to drive datadriven decisionmaking
- Adhere to data privacy and security guidelines
- Collaborate with data engineers and IT teams to optimize data collection and storage
Required qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology Data Analytics Statistics Mathematics or related field
- Proficiency in programming and scripting languages such as Python R SQL or similar
- Strong understanding of data analysis techniques methodologies and best practices
- Experience with data visualization tools and platforms such as Tableau Power BI or similar
- Knowledge of statistical concepts and techniques for hypothesis testing regression and clustering
- Familiarity with database management systems and data manipulation techniques
- Excellent problemsolving and critical thinking abilities
- Strong communication skills and ability to present complex data findings effectively
- Ability to work collaboratively in a crossfunctional team environment
- Detailoriented with a focus on accuracy and data integrity
- Understanding of software development lifecycle and agile methodologies
- Ability to work with large datasets and extract meaningful insights
- Knowledge of data privacy regulations and best practices
- Enthusiasm for learning new tools and technologies in the data analysis space
- Relevant internship or project experience in data analysis is a plus
