Experience of 3+years as a Mechanic with land-based drilling rigs and familiarity with rig-specific mechanical systems is highly desirable.
Relevant mechanical certifications or licenses.
Safety certifications (e.g., H2S, First Aid, Firefighting) are advantageous.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
In-depth knowledge of onshore oil and gas equipment, including pumps, compressors, generators, and other machinery.
Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical and hydraulic systems.
Familiarity with industry safety standards and protocols.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work in a physically demanding and often challenging environment.
Willingness to work flexible hours and be on-call when necessary.
