We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Support Workers to join our clients care team in Peacehaven. Our client is an independent man in his early 30s who has cerebral palsy and is a wheelchair user. He requires assistance in all aspects of daily living and has some complex health needs but his zest for life remains undiminished. You will be supporting our client in his own home working alongside a committed and dynamic small care team.
We are looking for 2 support workers for days and 1 for nights. Please note night shifts are only available to female workers.
Pay rates for these vacancies are broken down as follows:
Monday to Friday: 09:00 21:00 @ 15.00
Monday to Friday: 21:00 09:00 @ 16.00
Saturday to Sunday: 09:00 21:00 @ 16.00
Saturday to Sunday: 21:00 09:00 @ 17.00

Administration of medication and regular stocktaking
Moving and handling with a hoist
Gastrostomy care
Personal care
Specialised techniques
Assisting our client in the community
Administrative duties
General housework
Training specific to this client which is provided to CQC standards include:

Administration of Medication via Gastrostomy PEG

Essential Requirements Identified for this Role:
You must have previous care experience and be a reliable team player friendly fun and dynamic
You will need to drive as part of this role so it is essential you have a full UK driving licence
An enhanced DBS disclosure is required for this vacancy (expense to be met by HomeCareDirect)
Prepared to commit to long term care for one client in a personcentred way
Willing to be trained to CQC standards to meet the clients needs
Respect Company policies and procedures
Be reliable / nonjudgemental / caring / responsible / compassionate
