Job Overview: We are looking for a highly skilled Cyber Security Consultant to join our Blue Team specializing in threat detection incident response and proactive defense strategies. This is a fully remote role ideal for professionals who thrive in a flexible dynamic environment and have a proven ability to work independently. As a nomadic member of our team youll be tasked with securing digital infrastructures from anywhere ensuring our clients are protected 24/7.

Key Responsibilities:

• Proactive Communication: The most important aspect of proactive communication is keeping the client informed at all times (weekly meetings reports and dashboards)
  

• Threat Detection & Response: Lead threat detection and incident response efforts identifying and neutralizing cyber threats in real time.
  

• SOC Management: Oversee remote Security Operations Center (SOC) activities coordinating with global teams to ensure effective monitoring and defense.
  

• Incident Handling: Respond to security incidents perform root cause analysis and guide the team in implementing remediation measures.
  

• Security Assessments: Conduct remote security assessments vulnerability scans and penetration tests to identify and mitigate potential risks.
  

• Blue Team Strategy Development: Design and implement Blue Team strategies enhancing the organization s overall security posture.
  

• Cloud Security: Secure cloud infrastructures managing vulnerabilities and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  

• Automation & Scripting: Develop and deploy automated security workflows using Python PowerShell and other scripting tools to improve efficiency.
  

• Training & Mentorship: Provide remote training and mentorship to junior team members fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  

Qualifications:

• Good communication skills able to talk to both business and technical stakeholders on security related matters and work them to find and implement the right solutions.
  

• Proven experience as a Cyber Security Consultant with a focus on Blue Team operations.
  

• Proficiency in threat detection incident response and SOC management in remote environments.
  

• Handson experience with SIEM tools (Rapid7 Splunk IBM QRadar Elastic Stack) and EDR solutions (CrowdStrike SentinelOne Microsoft Defender).
  

• Expertise in cloud security across AWS Azure and Google Cloud Platform.
  

• Strong scripting skills in Python PowerShell or Bash.
  

• Industry certifications such as CISSP GCIH CEH or AWS Security Specialty are highly desirable.
  

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead and collaborate with remote teams.
