While Newfangled Studios is a fully remote team we are giving preference to candidates in Boston/NYC metro and surrounding areas for this role.

You re a storyteller at heart with the ability to inspire and excite the teams you work with through your creative vision and captivating words.
You re an exceptional writer capable of producing creative examples to set the bar high for the team.
You have extensive experience in copywriting for social video advertising and content creation for global brands.
You re a confident presenter with the ability to sell through big ideas and make the client feel excited about the narrative direction.
You have at least 5 years experience in an agency or studio setting.
You have a proven track record of delivering effective and engaging social campaigns through compelling copy. You re on top of social trends and language nuances and how best to use them to tell brand stories that move the needle for our clients.
You re able to think big picture about a social campaign always ensuring that every piece of copy ladders up to the campaign s platform or big idea.
You re passionate about social and language and love to brainstorm big ideas that push the boundaries of storytelling.
You excel at taking a big idea and translating it into a cohesive narrative across many social assets and channels.
You re not intimidated by fast paced industry changes in trends and technology. You are excited about new and creative ways to provide value to brands in a postcovid GenAI world.
What You ll Do
Socialfocused Copywriting & Creative Direction
You will work closely with our clients and staff to craft hypercurrent and memorable social media campaigns with a strong focus on conceptual narrative storytelling and impactful copy.
You will conceptualize netnew social ideas and activations in order to pitch new business
You will have mastery of the copywriting and voice best practices for advertising on the following platforms: Meta Snapchat TikTok Linkedin Pinterest and X.
You will stay abreast of culture and social trends in order to make our work current and effective.
You will reimagine our clients above the line campaigns in order to build them into a library of assets with socialfirst copy that hit all best practices
You will give actionable direction on copy and messaging ensuring everyone is clear on their next steps.
You will confidently present creative concepts and copy directions to clients ensuring they understand and are excited about the narrative vision.
You will write copy for and also oversee the copywriting and messaging for social & creator shoots ensuring the tone aligns with the campaigns vision.
When applicable you will provide constructive feedback to freelance and staff copywriters pushing them to create their best work while maintaining a positive and collaborative environment.
You will know and understand our clients brand and tone of voice and be able to give clear feedback on how to align copy with brand guidelines.
You will consistently push our team to deliver their best creative ensuring that our work is always innovative and the copy is always impactful.
You will be hands on with the work; rolling up your sleeves to get the copy over the finish line along with the team.
