Your daily tasks:

• Facade design documentation including calculations, drawings and specifications
  
  
• Design using Strand7, Spacegass and AutoCAD software
  
  
• Collaboration with structural and civil teams
  
  
• Site inspections of fa ade and remedial projects
  
  
• Prepare facade engineering reports
  
  
• Reviewing contractor submissions; shop drawings and calculations
  
  
• Attend regular site and client meetings
  
  
• Mentor junior engineers and supervise designers and drafters
  
  
• Senior candidates will be managing large scale projects independently
  
  

About you:

• Bachelors in Civil Engineering
  
  
• Minimum 4 years experience as a Facade Engineer in an Australian consultancy
  
  
• Demonstrated expertise in fa ade design and reviewing drawing submissions
  
  
• Experience with all facade materials - glass, aluminum, concrete, timber
  
  
• Solid glazing and curtain wall design knowledge
  
  
• A genuine desire to learn
• Excellent communication skills
  
  
• A passion for sustainable and innovative design
  
  
• Willingness to contribute to team culture
