Job Description
Educational Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Urban Planning, or related field. Master’s degree preferred.
Technical Skills:
Familiarity with traffic modeling and analysis, including the use of simulation tools and models such as VISSIM, SYNCHRO, or HCS.
Ability to collect and analyze traffic data and make recommendations for performance improvement.
Knowledge of modern practices and concepts in transportation systems planning and design.
Skills in developing and analyzing traffic models to evaluate vehicle flow and the impacts of changes on traffic networks.
Ability to prepare technical reports and share results with stakeholders.
Soft Skills:
Strong analytical skills to solve problems and make data-driven decisions.
Effective communication skills to explain model results and improvement recommendations to stakeholders.
Organizational skills to manage traffic analysis projects and coordinate efforts with different teams.
