You will be responsible for ensuring that the guest experience from arrival to departure is seamless in accordance with all policies and procedures set.
Main requirements:
- Grade 12 plus diploma/certificate in Hospitality Industry/Tourism
- Preferably 2 3 years previous experience working at the front desk in a 5* establishment
- Passionate about the hospitality industry
- Able to carry out and complete all duties responsible for a Guest Relations Officer and Night Auditor
- Excellent interpersonal & communication skills written and verbal.
- Ability to maintain a professional working relationship with all departments and across cultures and religions
- Able to deal with very distinguished clientele
- Flexible to work night shift
- Protel experience
Main responsibilities:
- Ensure the highest standards are kept in guest service cleanliness and maintenance standards
- Monitors Guest Relations employees to make sure all guests receive prompt and personal recognition
- Oversee all Guest Relations processes
- Assist in employee relations processes
- Attend morning meetings
- Able to compile the roster roster management
- Set up and create training for all new recruited Guest Relations Officers
- Ensure that all guest queries are taken and processed in a speedy and efficient manner
- Ensures that all Guest Relations Officers adhere to the established policies and procedures of the estate
- Ensure attention to detail in all tasks given
- Ensure all Guest Relations Officers are trained on all aspects
