Our client is seeking an experienced Head of Sales to lead our commercial strategy and drive revenue growth across all aspects of the businesses mainly B2C (home gardening hardware). The Head of Sales will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive commercial plans overseeing sales and marketing activities and building strong relationships with key stakeholders to maximize business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Commercial Strategy:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive commercial strategy aligned with company goals and objectives.
- Identify new business opportunities market trends and emerging technologies to drive growth and innovation.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to set strategic priorities and allocate resources effectively to achieve business targets.
- Sales Leadership:
- Provide strategic direction and leadership to the sales team setting clear objectives and performance targets.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to penetrate new markets expand customer base and increase revenue streams.
- Foster a culture of accountability collaboration and continuous improvement within the sales organization.
- Marketing and Brand Management:
- Oversee the development of marketing initiatives and campaigns to enhance brand awareness and drive customer engagement.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop compelling messaging and positioning strategies to differentiate our products/services in the market.
- Monitor marketing performance metrics and KPIs and adjust strategies as needed to optimize results.
- Partnership and Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers partners and stakeholders to understand their needs and preferences.
- Negotiate and manage strategic partnerships alliances and contracts to support business growth and expansion.
- Represent the company at industry events conferences and trade shows to promote brand visibility and establish thought leadership.
- Revenue Optimization:
- Analyze market trends customer insights and competitive intelligence to identify opportunities for revenue optimization and market share growth.
- Develop pricing strategies sales incentives and promotional programs to maximize revenue and profitability.
- Monitor sales performance and financial metrics and take proactive measures to address any issues or challenges that may arise.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration Marketing or related field; MBA preferred.
- 10 years of progressive experience in commercial leadership roles with a proven track record of driving revenue growth and business expansion.
- Strong strategic thinking and business acumen with the ability to develop and execute commercial plans that align with company objectives.
- Excellent leadership and management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate crossfunctional teams to achieve common goals.
- Exceptional communication negotiation and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and influence key stakeholders.
