Job Description

With 6M raised in our Series A funding round in 2021 and a presence in France Italy and Germany we are targeting new countries for our international growth in the coming years.


Otoqi is looking for a dedicated Admin & Finance Manager to oversee the accounting and financial management of our HQ and French business unit. This role will require a handson approach initially with the potential to grow into a managerial position as we consider internalizing our accounting functions. The Admin & Finance Manager will play a critical role in supervising accounting operations managing financial processes and optimizing administrative tasks.

You will report directly to the CFO.


Key Responsibilities:

Accounting Supervision:

  • Oversee the management of general auxiliary and analytical accounting.
  • Assess the feasibility and the interest of internalizing accounting functions (priority 2).
  • Manage monthly and annual financial closures.
  • Track expenses and manage supplier payments.
  • Supervise and potentially internalize the Sales Administration function including client billing debt collection and lettering.
  • Control and manage expense reports.

Financial Management:

  • Collaborate with the FP&A Manager in the development of the annual budget.
  • Provide recommendations to enhance financial processes and systems.
  • Implement tools to optimize administrative and financial processes.

Administration:

  • Manage relationships with suppliers insurance providers and tax authorities.


Experience:

  • Experience in an accounting firm (experience in audit is acceptable but less preferred).
  • Prior experience as a Financial and Administrative Manager (RAF) in a small company or as a General Accountant in a larger organization.


Skills:

  • Strong accounting and financial management skills.
  • Expert in Excel/Google sheet
  • Experience with financial reporting and budgeting.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Fluency in English; additional languages such Italian or German are a plus.
