Job Overview
Dahl Memorial Healthcare a critical access hospital with an integrated clinic is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our compassionate healthcare team. The ideal candidate will bring a diverse range of experience in medical settings with a strong background in infectious disease care pediatric intensive care (PICU) neonatal ventilator management IV infusion case management and other essential nursing skills. Experience with Thrive EMR medical documentation and assisting in specialized procedures in a critical access setting is highly valued.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive direct patient care within both hospital and clinic environments.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor and document patient vital signs symptoms and progress.
- Assist in medical procedures.
- Maintain accurate detailed medical records using Thrive EMR.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to deliver holistic patient care.
- Educate patients and their families on disease management treatment plans and preventive care.
Experience
- Bachelors degree in Nursing (BSN) required.
- Valid RN license in the state of practice.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse preferably in a critical access hospital or clinic setting.
- Proficiency in Thrive EMR or similar electronic health record systems preferred
- Strong communication interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Ability to adapt in a dynamic environment managing multiple tasks effectively.
