Job Description
Knowledge of Procurement: Thorough understanding of the fundamentals of purchasing and supply chain operations, including supplier evaluation, material procurement, and order management.
Proficiency in using purchasing tools: Experience in using procurement management software and systems such as ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) and supply chain management software.
Supplier Evaluation and Negotiation: Ability to evaluate suppliers, compare bids, and negotiate terms and prices to ensure best possible value.
Contract Management: Ability to prepare, review, and manage contracts with suppliers, ensuring compliance with terms and requirements.
Inventory Management: Understanding of inventory management fundamentals, including inventory control, estimating needs, and ensuring required materials are available on time.
Data Analysis and Reporting: Ability to analyze purchasing data and prepare accurate reports on performance, costs, and supplies.
Effective Communication: Strong communication skills with suppliers, internal teams, and stakeholders to ensure coordination of activities and resolution of issues.
