Job Description
Electrical Installation and Maintenance:
- Install maintain and repair electrical systems components and machinery in an industrial setting.
- Work with both highvoltage and lowvoltage equipment and wiring systems.
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems and equipment.
Troubleshooting and Repair:
- Diagnose electrical issues using electrical test equipment and schematics.
- Repair electrical systems and components in a timely and efficient manner.
- Troubleshoot motor controls PLCs and automated systems.
Safety Compliance:
- Ensure that all electrical work is performed in compliance with local state and national electrical codes and safety regulations.
- Follow company safety protocols including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.
- Participate in safety training and meetings.
Strong knowledge of electrical theory and principles. Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
