Our client is Utahs largest and most comprehensive HVAC and Plumbing DesignBuild contractor. Due to a steady workload and an increasing number of highprofile projects we are seeking skilled technicians to join their service team.
With a team of 300 employees our client leads the market in designing fabricating installing and servicing HVAC plumbing process piping and building automation systems.
Their Service Department is currently expanding and is looking for both Journeyman and Apprentice HVAC Service Technicians to join a team of over 60 technicians. This role offers the chance to develop your technical and customer service skills within a supportive team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret system blueprints specifications and performance data to determine the configuration of components like compressors motors pumps fans switches controls ducts and pipes.
- Service and repair HVAC products and equipment on assigned projects ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Utilize various hand tools to repair and maintain HVAC units.
- Identify diagnose and repair HVAC systems and products at customer locations.
- Perform preventative maintenance site surveys replacements and modifications as needed or requested by customers.
- Prepare for onsite installations and repairs by examining building layouts anticipating potential challenges gathering necessary materials and coordinating work as required.
Qualifications:
- Graduation from a certified technical school is preferred with 5 years of relevant experience and training or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must hold the necessary certifications licenses and a valid driver s license in good standing.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Strong communication skills both in writing and verbally are essential for interacting with customers.
