Position Overview:
The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is a critical member of the Executive Management team responsible for overseeing all financial operations of the company. This role requires a seasoned financial leader with a proven track record in the CFO role and experience in highranking organizations. The CFO will provide strategic financial leadership ensure the company s financial health and contribute to achieving business objectives. The ideal candidate will bring industrystandard practices to the finance department with a deep understanding of the food processing and agro commodity trading sectors.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Financial Leadership
- Develop and implement the company s financial strategy ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to the CEO and Board of Directors for strategic decisionmaking.
- Lead longterm financial planning and risk management initiatives to drive sustainable growth and profitability.
2. Financial Management
- Oversee all financial management activities including budgeting forecasting financial analysis and reporting.
- Ensure accurate and timely financial statements and reports in compliance with relevant regulations and accounting standards.
- Manage the company s capital structure including debt equity and working capital to optimize financial performance.
3. Risk Management and Compliance
- Identify and manage financial risks including foreign exchange commodity pricing and interest rate risks.
- Ensure compliance with local and international financial regulations tax laws and corporate governance standards.
- Develop and maintain robust internal controls and procedures to safeguard company assets and the integrity of financial data.
4. Treasury and Cash Flow Management
- Oversee treasury operations including cash management investment strategies and financing activities.
- Ensure efficient management of cash flow to meet operational and strategic requirements.
- Manage relationships with banks financial institutions and investors to secure funding and optimize returns.
5. Financial Reporting and Analysis
- Lead the preparation and presentation of monthly quarterly and annual financial statements and reports.
- Conduct financial analysis to provide insights into company performance identifying trends and areas for improvement.
- Support business units with financial analysis cost management and performance metrics to drive profitability.
6. Mergers Acquisitions and Strategic Investments
- Evaluate and manage potential mergers acquisitions and strategic investments to support the company s growth strategy.
- Lead financial due diligence valuation and integration of acquisitions to maximize shareholder value.
- Provide financial leadership in joint ventures partnerships and other strategic alliances.
7. Team Leadership and Development
- Lead mentor and develop the finance team fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
- Ensure the finance team is equipped with the necessary skills and tools to support the company s objectives.
- Promote collaboration across departments and geographies to achieve financial goals.
Requirements
Qualifications and Experience:
Education:
- Bachelor s degree in Finance Accounting Economics or a related field.
- MBA or Master s degree in Finance or a relevant discipline is preferred.
- Professional certification (e.g. CPA CFA ACCA) is required.
Experience:
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive financial leadership experience with at least 3 years in a CFO or similar senior financial leadership role.
- Extensive experience in the food processing agro commodity trading or a related industry.
- Proven track record of managing complex financial operations in a multinational environment.
Skills:
- Strong strategic thinking and problemsolving skills.
- Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
- Superior knowledge of financial planning risk management and financial analysis.
- Indepth understanding of global financial markets accounting standards (IFRS/GAAP) and regulatory requirements.
