Technical Support Networking Engineer - onsite Amsterdam - 3 MTH contract

• Configure monitor and maintain network infrastructure including Juniper routers switches firewalls and other network appliances
  
• Perform regular network performance monitoring and tuning to ensure optimal performance.
  
• Implement and manage network changes upgrades and migrations to minimize downtime and ensure a smooth transition.
  
• Provide onsite technical support to clients addressing hardware and software issues related to network infrastructure.
  
• Troubleshoot and resolve network connectivity issues routing problems and security breaches promptly.
  
• Collaborate with internal teams and thirdparty vendors to resolve complex network issues.
  
• Create and maintain detailed network documentation including configurations processes and procedures.
  
• Prepare and present regular reports on network performance incidents and resolutions to management and stakeholders.
  
• Document technical issues and resolutions for future reference and training purposes.
  

Requirements

• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
  
• 5 years of experience in technical support and network engineering with a strong focus on Juniper networks.
  
• Strong knowledge of network protocols such as TCP/IP BGP OSPF MPLS and VLANs.
  
• Experience with network monitoring tools and diagnostic software.
  
• Solid understanding of network security principles and best practices.Juniper certifications (e.g. JNCIA JNCIS JNCIP) will be a plus.
  
• Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
  
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with team members.
  
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fastpaced environment.
