There is now a great opportunity for an experienced handson specialist in the import / export / customs admin team.
This position will suit an experienced candidate from a transport logistics import and export background
It is essential you have good knowledge and experience of all the customs rules regulations and compliance for the movement of goods across International Borders
You should therefore have extra experience in areas such as Customs Declarations Import/ Export laws and paperwork customs clearance knowledge.

- Work with national and international suppliers and agents to arrange freight deliveries and collections between ports airports and warehouses
- Keep clients up to date and deal with problems or delays.
- Manage freight bookings using a CDS computer Declarations system
- Preparing customs documents for shipment.
- Ensure compliance of various documents with appropriate standards.
- Transfer documents to customs brokers.
- Ensure technical and administrative liaison for the movement of goods.
- Check that tax and customs documents are correct
- Work with national and international suppliers and agents
- Handle invoices and payments
- Arrange for the shipment of goods into and/or out of the country.
- Prepare and process all necessary documentation including quotes invoices customs clearances receipts and other documents.
- Track shipments and ensure the distribution of goods.
Your Profile
- You need to have c 2 years of the above tasks.
- You will have come from a Shipping import export logistics transportation background
- Able to work on a variety of tasks until the job is done
- Good customer service experience. Be polite and patient.
- Problem solver and able to work on your own initiative
- Car owner / driver is needed due to location
