• Start Date: October/November 2024
• Location: Work from home
• Scheduling: A minimum of 10 hours per week from Monday to Saturday from 10:00 am ET 11:00 pm ET
• Students: You will teach adult students (private and or group classes) that are based predominantly in the US Brazil and Latin America
• Remuneration: Set base rate from 5.5 5.9 USD per hour
• You will be contracted by The Really Great Teacher Company as an Independent Service Provider

Requirements

• Native Spanish speaker
• Bilingual (Spanish and must be able to speak conversational English B1 level)
• Minimum of 1year experience teaching Spanish as a second language
• DELE/ ELE (Diploma/Certificado de Espaol como Lengua Extranjera / Diploma/Certificate of Spanish as a Foreign Language) completed / or a degree in Linguistics Education Spanish Modern Languages or Literatures completed or in progress at an accredited institution of higher education
• Online experience preferred
• Highly computer literate
• High degree of professionalism
• Comfortable in a fast paced dynamic work environment
• No criminal record

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS (NONNEGOTIABLE)

• PC specifications

• Processor: Intel Core i5 CPU @2.0GHz (4 CPUs) or greater

• Memory: 8GB RAM or greater

• Backup power

• Uninterrupted Power Supply (UPS) with a battery life up to 45 hours (2000VA) (or willing to purchase before commencing teaching). This is applicable and a nonnegotiable requirement for candidates based in a country where regular power interruptions occur.

• A stable fibre internet connection

• At a minimum of 20 Mbps upload and download speeds

• PC is connected via a LAN cable and not via a WiFi connection

• Noisecancelling headsets and HD web camera. Backup headset is highly recommended

• Tidy welllit and quiet teaching environment
