Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the movable bridge industry with 1015 years of

professional experience.

As a Senior Mechanical Engineer at Steward Machine Company you will play a critical role in the design

analysis and production of movable bridge machinery and structural components. You will be expected

to wear multiple hats adapt to changing project requirements and demonstrate strong business

acumen.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and oversee the design analysis and implementation of movable bridge projects.

Provide technical expertise and guidance to junior engineers and project teams.

Conduct detailed engineering calculations and simulations to ensure the integrity and

performance of bridge systems.

Collaborate with clients stakeholders and crossfunctional teams to deliver innovative and

effective engineering solutions.

Prepare and review technical documents including design specifications reports and drawings.

Ensure compliance with industry standards codes and regulations.

Manage project timelines budgets and resources to achieve project goals.

Participate in site visits inspections and testing activities as required.

Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the engineering team.

Qualifications:

Professional Engineer (PE) license required.

Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field; Masters degree preferred.

1015 years of experience in the movable bridge industry.

Strong passion for bridge engineering and a commitment to excellence.

Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and wear multiple hats.

Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail.

Strong business acumen and ability to make strategic decisions.

Proficiency in engineering software and tools (e.g. AutoCAD SolidWorks ANSYS).

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
