Job Description

Urgent requirement of Network Engineer Contract Canberra

Requirements

DEF22891 and Project HOTCHILLIE are projects managed within ASD to build and uplift ICT systems and support organisational elements.

The primary responsibilities and technical experience for the required roles are detailed below.

Essential Criteria
  • Lead the design build test and operation of networks services in a multivendor environment.
  • Conduct requirement traceability and prioritisation activities and determine the feasibility of individual requirements in order to support the design of elements of the system.
  • Plan the configuration implementation automation and testing of an enterprise gateway environment adhering to security policy and compliance.
  • Provide assistance in the development support and management of monitoring systems for networks.
  • Implement configure and maintain (including leading change activities) of switches routers and firewalls in a multivendor environment.
Desirable Criteria
  • Experience in the operation and management of a gateway environment.
  • Experience automating networks through Infrastructure as Code.
Duration: 12 Months and possible extension of another 2*12 Months

Eligibility: Australian/NZ Citizens/PR Holders with Positive Vetting Clearance only
