Job Description

Our valued client is seeking Cardiovascular Surgery APP coverage as soon as possible!

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with open heart surgeries and vein harvesting.
  • Provide first assisting during procedures.
  • Handle both clinic and hospital call duties.
  • Participate in inpatient rounding and patient care.

Schedule:

  • Orientation and EMR training on one business day.
  • Monday to Friday (8 AM 5 PM) with night and weekend call.


Requirements

  • BLS and ACLS certifications.
  • 50 cases within the past 12 months.
  • IMLC considered.
  • Experience with Athena and Sunrise Allscripts preferred.


Bachelor's degree in a physical science, preferably in medical technology. Clinical Laboratory Technologist License from the New York State Department of Education Two years of hands-on experience in histological procedures. The ideal candidate will have experience operating the following equipment: Rotary Microtome Scales pH Meter Automated Cover Slipper Microscope Embedding Center Tissue Processor Water Bath Cryoplate Incubator Oven
