Job Description

TPF Recruitment Kent s leading accountancy practice recruitment agency is supporting a fantastic firm of chartered Accountants based in Gravesend in their search for an Audit Senior Manager.


They are seeking an experienced Audit senior Manager to join their team on a fulltime permanent basis with partnership prospects on offer. This position will primarily be focused on accounts and audit and accounts work and the levels can be adjusted based on the applicants experience and aspirations. You will work with a mixed client base with a large proportion of corporate clients across a range of industries and turnover up to 250m.


The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • The role will focus mainly on delivering accountancy and audit services.
  • Support a varied portfolio of owner managed business clients.
  • Lead audits from planning through to completion liaising with the team and client where necessary.
  • Host and conduct preaudit and postaudit meetings with clients.
  • Provide accountancy advice and support to clients as necessary.
  • Conduct client meetings for the presentation of final draft accounts.
  • Lead and manage a small team of qualified and partqualified accountants.
  • Mentor the team reviewing their work and encouraging prompt and highquality delivery and service.
  • Develop and expand the team s skillset through development plans and training and support.
  • Contribute to the firm s growth by retaining existing clients and building relationships with prospective clients.

Requirements

  • Qualified ACA or ACCA or equivalent
  • Min. 5 years postqualification experience in practice
  • Experience in accounts preparation auditing SMEsized limited companies taxation (corporate business & personal)
  • Experience supervising staff
  • Effective communication skills
  • Proactive and able to work on own initiative with minimal supervision
  • Excellent planning organisation & deadline time keeping skills
  • Good computer skills

ACA/ACCA studying or qualified by experience Experience in audit fieldwork, or potentially planning audits. Client-facing experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
