Job Description
TPF Recruitment Kent s leading accountancy practice recruitment agency is recruiting for an experienced Senior Accounts Manager to work closely with the Partner. Ideally you will be ACA or ACCAqualified or perhaps QBE with strong technical skills. This role could also prove to be a fantastic business opportunity for an entrepreneurial individual with ambitions to run your own firm in the future. The firm offers plenty of flexibility for this closeknit team.
The practice has continued to grow through recommendations and requires an experienced professional to help with the smooth running of the business. You will help oversee a client portfolio which consists of many owner managed companies based throughout Maidstone Kent and the surrounding areas.
The work of the Senior Accounts Manager is varied and will involve:
- Preparing statutory accounts and management accounts
- Assisting clients with Personal and Corporation Tax returns/compliance
- Reviewing the work of the Bookkeeping team and junior staff
- Business Advisory work
- Onboarding new clients
- Systems used include Iris Sage 50 Xero and QuickBooks
Requirements
- Preferably qualified ACA/ACCA or by experience.
- 510 years experience within an accountancy practice experience.
- Experience preparing and reviewing accounts and tax returns.
Benefits
You will be ACA/ACCA or qualified by experience with at least 3 years experience within practice. You will have worked as Semi Senior or Senior accountant within practice Experience of Iris and cloud software such as Xero/ Quickbooks would be advantageous
