Job Description
Located in the heart of the community of Washington Heights in Northern Manhattan is a 705bed rehabilitation and nursing care facility with a mission to provide quality care through diverse programs and services designed to support health and independence to individuals needing shortstay or long term inpatient care.
Responsible for the development implementation and evaluation of Nursing Care and practice within assigned areas.
- BSN required
- Currently licensed as a registered nurse in New York State
- Prior experience as assistant head nurse head nurse or instructor or comparable experience is desirable
- Graduate of a State approved and accredited school of nursing
- Four years experience as a staff nurse
- Demonstrated interest in geriatric nursing
- Demonstrated initiative judgment and dependability
- Demonstrates commitment to continuing professional development
