Job Description:

Work on one of the worlds largest Battery Energy Storage System Developers for the client as their Commissioning ManagerAnalytics. The primary roles are to conduct plant testing performance testing ISO/GIA/PPA Testing and startup of a Battery Energy Storage System and Solar Coupled Power systems. To act as the Owners representative to oversee aspects of the energy storage system including: compliance status reporting safety startup commissioning and testing. Employees in this role manage and report on commissioning and performance testing work performed by contractors and/or vendors at the project site.

Location:

The position involves occasional travel within the United States to project locations for testing purposes with an estimated travel frequency of up to 25%. The remaining work is primarily remote focused on providing support through SCADA monitoring.

Reports To:

Client Senior Cx Project Manager

Preferred Background:

Engineering or professional electrical career in power systems construction and startup with min 100MWhr or 5 EA energy storage systems and commissioning. A background with BESS is required. Experience with SCADA is preferred.

Required Skill Sets:

• Battery Energy Storage Systems installation and startup

• Must have a thorough understanding of the technical performance and integration of LiIon batteries as part of ESS

• Commissioning process creation

• Understanding of containerized systems skids controllers/SCADA transformers combiners

• Thorough understanding of DC systems (02000Vdc) and AC systems (480V34.5kV)

• Experience with control and SCADA systems and troubleshooting

• Organizations skills

• Computer skills MS word Excel and MS PowerPoint

• Communication to third parties and executives

• Ability to effectively organize and strategize schedules and plans.

Job Responsibilities:

• Participates in safety program and audits

• Support PPA Testing with Customer

• Support GIA Testing with TO

• Support ISO testing

• Manage test energy forecast with the customer
