Job Description
Job Summary
The Orthopedic Technician will work across the full hospital site in clinics, Emergency Departments, ICU, Operating theatres, and day surgery units and on the wards to provide all cast, splinting and traction care and education. S/he will evaluate, plan, and perform procedures under the direction of the Orthopedic surgeon to facilitate timely treatments which are evidence based.
Job Responsibilities 1
Works within the limits of own competence and the boundaries of personal and professional Scope of Practice.
Identifies opportunities for advocacy, health promotion and disease prevention.
