Job Description
Play an active role in shaping the development of digital journalism. Your IT security team continuously ensures that the security of our products and infrastructures is improved and supports the developers in identifying vulnerabilities at an early stage and successfully eliminating them.
Tasks
- You design and implement security solutions at a large media company in close collaboration with the software development teams.
- You sensitize software developers in security analysis (static code analysis known vulnerability analysis tools) and support them in fixing security issues.
- You develop and maintain security test automation procedures IT security policies security tests and security tools.
- As an IT security specialist do you focus on web application security or cloud infrastructure security
- You advocate for secure web app products and cloud platform requirements and communicate security risks and solutions to the platform and product teams.
- Be an expert on the latest security topics and technologies and strive to integrate them into the products.
Requirements
- You are an experienced IT security expert who specializes in securing web applications or cloud infrastructures.
- You have have practical experience in application development with modern programming and scripting languages and frameworks
- Your expertise covers security issues related to containers distributed systems and largescale web applications.
- You have excellent communication skills in English and/or German: You can present complex issues clearly and convincingly.
- You also have experience in giving presentations and workshops on IT security topics and organizing events in this area.
