The eBuilder Developer is responsible for implementing developing and administering the Project Management Information System (PMIS) software to ensure alignment with Government of Nunavut (GN) policies and procedures. This role involves liaising with the eBuilder steering committee. and end users to create or modify processes data fields reports forms dashboards and templates. The eBuilder Developer plays a critical role in providing training mentorship and support to GN employees as well as troubleshooting and resolving issues related to the eBuilder system. The Developer ensures that the PMIS software meets the needs of the organization while adhering to modern project management best practices and government workflows.
Responsibilities
Liaise with the eBuilder steering committee and end users to implement any required account level creation or modifications which could include creations or modifications of processes data fields reports forms dashboards and templates.
Assist and lead the development and implementation of the GN PMIS software eBuilder that align with GN policies and procedures
Provide onboarding and training of new users
Participate in a crisis management situation when the eBuilder processes fail unexpectedly
Provide mentorship and elevated support to GN eBuilder Admins
Provide GN employees with phone or remote support using administration tools provided by the GN. There may also be travel to communities outside of Iqaluit.
Communicate with the eBuilder technical support and developers to resolve issues and request enhancement requests
Communicate with the GN eBuilder Account Manager to discuss and execute eBuilder integration with GN software customization options to align with GN policies and procedures and future training
Administer maintain and monitor Ebuilder
Requirements
Education and Experience
A minimum of (2) twoyear s experience implementing developing and administering the Project Management Information System (PMIS) software.
A postsecondary degree in a relevant discipline will be considered an asset
Knowledge of construction procurement strategies practices and considerable experience in managing consultant and construction contracts would be considered an asset.
Ability to understand Government workflows processes and approvals
Knowledge of modern project management best practices and considerable experience in project delivery would be considered and asset

Education and Experience A post-secondary degree in a relevant discipline is considered an asset A minimum (10) ten years of progressively challenging project management experience delivering medium to large commercial, institutional, or municipal infrastructure building projects; including participation in all aspects of planning, design, construction, and post-construction; and with at least five of these years in the role of prime consultant or Project Lead responsible for coordinating the input and delivery of multi-disciplinary teams The contextual knowledge, skills and abilities would typically be attained through completion of a Degree in Architecture, Engineering, or related field with the following professional experience In addition, at least five (5) years of senior managerial experience leading diverse teams Included in the above experience, at least two (2) years experience with public sector capital projects or public sector facility management program delivery Competencies Knowledge of modern project management best practices Knowledge of Canadian or Nunavut laws, codes, building guides, and public sector project management and contracting policies and procedures Knowledge of construction, economic, political, social, and cross-cultural conditions and practices Knowledge of construction procurement strategies and practices, including in the public sector.
