Job Description

Resource Responsibilities

  • Work with an existing team to manage multiple projects.
  • Manage project activities throughout the project lifecycle including defining scope goals deliverables in collaboration with IT partners and Business stakeholders.
  • Develop and execute project plans as well as other project documents and project related communication
  • Maximize the value created by the project team by ensuring focus and flow removing impediments escalating blockers and managing dependencies with other teams in the organization.
  • Work with project stakeholders to ensure that goals are understood by everyone manage the backlog create Stories and Acceptance Criteria sequence items to maximize value delivery
  • Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including iteration planning retrospectives standups
  • Work with a sense of urgency and demonstrate leadership skills to achieve high performance and excellent service
  • Identify manage and help mitigate project risks and issues
  • Lead cross functional teams to deliver on diverse IT commitments / deliverables
  • Facilitate and/or participate in technical discussions while effectively building relationships and influencing decisions
  • Work and negotiate with a variety of business stakeholders and vendors
  • Prepare/edit comprehensive project reports and other documents with strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills


Knowledge & Skills

  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant professional experience in project management and scrum in a software development environment managing medium to large sized projects
  • Experience with managing project activities throughout the project lifecycle
  • Experience in creating and executing project plans and managing projects through completion
  • Experience in projects involving IT and business teams
  • Experience with a range of agile delivery techniques and tools
  • Excellent understanding of the software development life cycle
  • Excellent project management analytical and problem solving skills
  • Strong ability to facilitate understand and contribute to technical discussions
  • Effective communicator with excellent verbal and written communication skills. Comfortable communicating with IT development teams as well as business stakeholders and Senior Management.
  • Effective facilitation and conflict resolution skills; able to facilitate discussion of multiple approaches and drive resolution.
  • Ability to prepare/edit comprehensive reports and other documents with strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to create and review burndown velocity and predictability reports
  • High level of personal accountability as evidenced by commitment resilience ownership and mindset toward continuous learning
  • Hardworking strong attention to detail highenergy motivated and driven to help the team excel
  • Excellent interpersonal and social skills; able to work with diverse personality types
  • Strong business acumen and excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Both PMP and Scrum Master Certification (ex. CSM SAFe SM) is a must
  • Develop and execute detailed transition plans outlining tasks timelines and resource allocation.
  • Coordinate with project teams and departments to ensure alignment with transition objectives.
  • Monitor and evaluate the progress of transitions addressing issues as they arise.
  • Communicate changes to relevant stakeholders and manage resistance effectively.
  • Provide training and support to staff during transition periods.
  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Measure and report on project performance identifying areas for improvement.
  • Ensure adherence to project budgets and timelines.
  • Facilitate change management initiatives and build stakeholder buyin



Requirements

Skill Set Description

Minimum of 10 years of relevant professional experience in IT project management and Scrum Master experience in a software development environment managing small to medium sized projects

Minimum 5 years Experience in agile techniques and practices and driving delivery

Minimum 5 years experience in managing project activities throughout the project lifecycle including initiation planning implementation and closeout involving IT and Business stakeholders. Develop and execute project plans project status reports and project related communication documents

Effective communicator with excellent verbal and written communication skills. Comfortable communicating with IT and business teams including Senior Management. Strong Transition In and Out expertise. Managing Multivendor scenarios during Transition. Work with resources in various time zones.

Strong problemsolving skills able to prioritize among many conflicting needs advocate a course of action and pursue it consistently but flexible and responsive to dynamic situations

Team player energetic personality quality minded focused committed able to work independently in a fastpaced changing environment. Continually seeks opportunities to increase stakeholder value identify & address project impediments proactively including proper escalation to individuals/groups as needed

Strong Knowledge in Application Development & Maintenance activity besides production environment
