Job Description

We are looking for a Operations Support Speciliast to provide meaningful administrative support across all areas of operations and safety including but not limited to equipment lifecycle customer service planning and dispatching while receiving comprehensive training in these essential functions

Provides administrative support across operational functions and safety

Generate maintain and distribute daily reporting for customers and internal use

Data entry

Review and validate driver documentation

o Communicate with drivers regarding missing documentation

o Retrieve documentation independently when possible

Ensure load documentation is complete at all stages of the load

Provide as close to real time as possible communications to customers regarding the progress of their loads

o Provide paperwork to customers to support completed events as they occur

o Report scheduled load pickups delivers and returns

o Provide updates regarding charges that will apply based on load events

o Track drivers/loads to provide updates regarding progress and changes

Review update and maintain data entered on each load

o Ensure container information is correct regarding size/type/equipment provider

o Ensure chassis information is correct regarding size/type/equipment provider

Assist with scheduling and planning

o Schedule container pickup and return appointments with the terminals

o Schedule deliveries and pickups with the customer

o Monitor the schedule for potential changes to ensure best level of service and efficiency



Requirements

Bachelors degree or equivalent

Proficiency in English (both written and spoken)

Excellent written and oral communication abilities with the ability to communicate with customers teammates

and independent contractors

Superior interpersonal skills

Advanced computer skills on MS Office accounting software and databases preferred

Ability to manipulate large amounts of data

Obsession with attention to detail; meticulous

High selfinitiative with ability to work under pressure

Proven ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment

Building and maintaining relationships with partner carriers Monitor loading, unloading and appointments follow up with customers regarding delays, missed appointments and late arrivals Identifying potential problems before they occur Ensuring that any problems such as delays, accidents, etc., are communicated immediately to our Account Operations and Carrier Sales Teams Demonstrates professionalism, positive attitude, and exceptional telephone etiquette. Assist other team members when required.
