Job Description

Job Title: Quality Control Executive
Department: Quality Control
Location: Bavla
Salary: 17K25K

Job Summary:

The Executive Quality Control will be responsible for ensuring that all processes and procedures within the QC department meet the highest standards of quality and compliance. This role requires proficiency in reviewing and approving Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) ensuring Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and handling pharmaceutical quality control operations including raw material sampling testing and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. SOP and Document Management:
    • Review and approve Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and GMPrelated documents across all departments.
    • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards in the preparation and management of SOPs in the QC & QA departments.
  2. Quality Control Operations:
    • Perform and review the calibration of laboratory instruments to ensure accuracy and reliability.
    • Oversee the sampling and testing of raw materials inprocess checks finished products and packaging materials.
    • Conduct sampling for retest materials to ensure continued compliance.
  3. Software and Instrumentation:
    • Demonstrate good knowledge and proficiency in Pharma cloud software related to Quality Control (QC).
    • Ensure adherence to Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) within the QC department.
  4. Compliance and Investigations:
    • Review and approve specifications Standard Testing Procedures (STP) and General Testing Procedures (GTP) for the QC department.
    • Lead investigations into Out of Specification (OOS) and Out of Trend (OOT) results ensuring thorough documentation and resolution.
  5. Training and Development:
    • Ensure that SOPs are updated and that training is conducted as per the training matrix.
    • Prepare and maintain an analyst qualification matrix to track the competency of QC personnel.
    • Monitor and track QC department trainings to ensure compliance with the training matrix.
  6. Additional Duties:
    • Perform any other activities as allocated by the Head of Department (HOD).

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors/Masters degree in Pharmacy Chemistry or a related field.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in Quality Control within the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Strong understanding of GMP GLP and pharmaceutical quality standards.
  • Proficiency in Pharma cloud software and laboratory instrumentation.

Note:

Transportation will be provided to and from Pakwan Cross Road Ahmedabad.
