• Oversee daytoday financial operations including accounts payable receivable payroll and general ledger entries.
• Prepare monthly quarterly and annual financial statements and management reports.
• Ensure timely reconciliation of bank accounts and balance sheets.
• Monitor cash flow manage budgets and forecast financial trends.
• Collaborate with department heads to prepare annual budgets and financial plans.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends variances and areas for cost reduction or revenue enhancement.
• Provide financial projections and analyses to support decisionmaking.
• Ensure compliance with local state and federal financial regulations.
• Coordinate with external auditors for annual audits and ensure all financial records are accurate and up to date.
• Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard assets.
• Oversee the preparation and filing of all tax returns.
• Develop strategies to optimize tax liabilities while ensuring compliance with tax laws.
• Liaise with tax authorities and consultants as needed.
• Lead and mentor the accounting team providing guidance and support for professional development.
• Conduct performance evaluations set goals and ensure the team meets all deadlines and standards.
• Provide financial analysis and insights to support strategic initiatives and business growth.
• Work closely with the Financial Controller Resort Manager and other department heads to align financial goals with overall objectives.
• Evaluate investment opportunities and assess financial risks.

• Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field; CPA or CMA preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting with at least 2 years in a managerial role preferably in the hospitality industry.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles financial regulations and tax laws.
• Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite particularly Excel.
• Excellent analytical organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fastpaced environment.
