Job Description
Senior Accountant
Job Description: Our client a leading logistics company is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their finance team. The Senior Accountant will oversee accounting operations financial analysis and reporting.
Responsibilities:
- Lead monthend and yearend close processes including preparation of financial statements.
- Manage the annual budgeting and forecasting process.
- Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to management.
- Supervise junior accounting staff and provide training and guidance.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams on process improvements and initiatives.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA designation.
- 5 years of progressive accounting experience preferably in the logistics industry.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Leadership experience is a plus.
