Job Description
Role: Civil Design Engineer
Location: Lititz PA (Lancaster County) office
Responsibilities:
- Develop plans that include details and specifications suitable for submitting permit applications (postconstruction stormwater management erosion and sediment control land development and NPDES).
- Produce designs/calculations complete plans and permit applications and coordinate with reviewing agencies.
- Assist the project director by providing project management and engineering support throughout the proposal design permitting and construction phases of athletic facility development.
- Perform construction administration and field observations during construction projects.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in civil engineering or related field
- Engineer in Training (EIT) certification at minimum; Professional Engineering (PE) License preferred
- Experience/working knowledge of basic design principles for grading calculation of slopes & grades and site construction materials and methods
- Training and/or work experience in AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Ability to meet project and task deadlines as established by the project director
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- An understanding of and experience with the municipal land development and NPDES permitting process
