Job Description
RecruitNet International Ltd is specializing in relocating qualified professionals throughout Ireland and overseas
We are Hiring a Social Care worker for our Nursing home in Louth
Fulltime permanent contract
Flexible working hours
Key Responsibilities
- Providing personal care toileting meal preparation moving and transferring Alzheimer s Dementia and high dependency care supervising medication light housework/basic shopping needs.
- Offering emotional and social support.
- Monitoring and documenting client progress.
- Collaborating with a multidisciplinary care team.
- Creating a safe and nurturing care environment for clients.
- Providing assistance guidance and community resource mobilisation to carers in order to aid and counsel them.
- Reporting and recording any incidents.
- Adhering to Health and Safety regulations.
Requirements
- Must have a degree level 7/8 qualification in Social Care/Social Studies or a related discipline.
- Eligible for registration with CORU an advantage
- Full clean driving licence.
- Knowledge of New Directions Services and Supports for adults with disabilities would be advantageous.
- Ability to work on own initiative.
- A fluent level of English both written and oral is essential.
- Must be flexible willing and able to adapt to changing circumstances shift patterns and expectation.
- Must be eligible to work in the Republic of Ireland.
