GROW Women Leaders is seeking to hire an Expert with EDI hiring Practices and Anti Bias.The role of an Expert with EDI (Equity Diversity and Inclusion) Hiring Practices and AntiBias involves ensuring that hiring processes within the organization are fair equitable and inclusive. This professional helps in creating and implementing strategies that promote diversity and mitigate bias in recruitment selection and employment practices.Your contributions will help us work towards our mission of empowering women particularly immigrants and BIWoC to secure employment and advance their careers.



Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Expert with EDI (Equity Diversity and Inclusion) Hiring Practices and AntiBias to join our team. This role will be responsible for developing implementing and overseeing strategies that ensure our hiring practices are equitable inclusive and free from bias. The successful candidate will work closely with HR leadership and various stakeholders to promote a diverse and inclusive workplace.

  • Create and implement EDI strategies tailored to the organization s recruitment and hiring processes.

  • Develop and update policies related to equitable and inclusive hiring practices.

  • Ensure all hiring policies comply with legal standards and reflect best practices in EDI.

  • Design and deliver training programs for HR teams hiring managers and other stakeholders on EDI and antibias techniques.

  • Facilitate workshops that address unconscious bias and promote inclusive hiring.

  • Conduct regular audits of the hiring process to identify and eliminate biases.

  • Analyze hiring data and metrics to assess the effectiveness of EDI initiatives and recommend improvements.

  • Provide regular updates to leadership on the status of EDI hiring efforts including successes and areas for improvement.



Responsibilities:


  • Design and execute comprehensive equity diversity and inclusion (EDI) strategies specifically tailored to the organizations hiring practices.

  • Collaborate with HR leadership and other departments to integrate EDI principles into recruitment hiring and talent management processes.

  • Develop and deliver training programs focused on reducing bias in hiring including unconscious bias microaggressions and systemic inequities.

  • Assess current recruitment and selection processes to identify and address potential biases or barriers to diversity.

  • Recommend and implement changes to job descriptions interview practices and candidate evaluation criteria to ensure fairness and inclusivity.

  • Act as a subject matter expert on EDI and antibias in hiring providing guidance and support to HR teams recruiters and hiring managers.

  • Advocate for inclusive practices in job postings candidate sourcing and interview panels to attract and retain diverse talent.

  • Ensure the organization s recruitment practices comply with federal state and local antidiscrimination laws and regulations.



Skills and Qualifications:

  • Indepth knowledge of equity diversity and inclusion (EDI) concepts including antibias practices and cultural competency.

  • Familiarity with the social cultural and systemic factors that impact diversity in the workplace.

  • Proficiency in developing and delivering antibias training programs for various audiences including HR professionals managers and employees.

  • Ability to facilitate difficult conversations and create safe spaces for dialogue on sensitive topics.

  • Proven ability to lead EDI initiatives and advocate for inclusive practices within the organization.

  • Strong ability to collect analyze and interpret diversityrelated data including hiring demographics and recruitment metrics.

  • Experience in using data to identify gaps inform decisionmaking and measure the effectiveness of EDI initiatives.

  • Understanding of global and local cultural differences and how they impact workplace dynamics.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex EDI concepts to diverse audiences.

  • Strong interpersonal skills including the ability to build relationships collaborate and work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

  • Master s Degree in Human Resources Diversity and Inclusion Organizational Leadership or a related field is preferred.

  • Professional Certifications in Diversity Equity and Inclusion (e.g. Certified Diversity Professional (CDP) SHRM Inclusive Workplace Culture) are highly desirable.

  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in Human Resources Diversity and Inclusion or a related field with a strong focus on equitable and inclusive hiring practices.

  • Proven track record of developing and implementing EDI strategies in recruitment and talent management.

  • Experience in conducting antibias training workshops and facilitating discussions on diversity and inclusion topics.

  • Demonstrated experience in data analysis and metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of EDI initiatives.
